Has reusable gone too far????

Reusable seems to be the new trend... Save mother earth and buy a reusable grocery bag (that you usually forget at home). Now I always try to do what I can to help the enviorment and impact it as little as possible. I buy organic when it is in the budget, I only buy organic eggs, and I also buy cleaning supplies along with laundry detergent that is biodegradable and has no impact on the enviorment.
BUT..... Today I was at whole foods and walking through an aisle something caught my eye: Here is what I found...

Just in case you cannot read the bottom of the box it says:
GladRags
Reusable Pads for Women
Thats like an oxymoron Reusable Pads....
UMMM EWWWWW...... and for $11.99 you too can have one reusable ORGANIC maxi pad!! And I do not thing that GladRag is the right term for this product.... what woman is GLAD while on their period not to mention (not to be graphic) now they have to wash this bloody rag and I'm not talking British bloody I'm talking BLOODY like came from your body bloody...
not to mention you probably would have to buy multiple packs considering only one comes in a box SO now you are spending $80 on a one weeks supply of bloody clothes that you have to wash. Yes it does save money in the long run, but seriously! GROSS!
Now I am just trying to think of what they will come up with next to reuse???
